A little more snow expected today; wind chills below zero tonight

Snow is expected to continue today (1/19) through around 3 p.m. with an additional 1-1.5 inches of accumulation and lingering flurries into this evening, according to the Wood County Emergency Management Agency.

Temperatures will fall from the lower 20s to 5 degrees overnight.  Wind speeds will be 10-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.  Wind chills are expected to be below zero.

Next week’s temperatures will rise and there will be several chances of a rain snow mix.  The Tuesday morning commute has the possibility of rain/snow/ice mix but it’s too far out for an accurate timing of this forecasted precipitation.
