Even as the second punch of the winter storm arrived, people in Bowling Green settled into clearing the snow that had already fallen or going about their business on a snow day.

The National Weather service Cleveland’s winter storm warning remains in effect until Friday at 7 a.m.

Snow will continue into tonight with as much as four additional inches of accumulation. Temperatures are expected to fall into the single digits with wind chill values down to minus-5.

Downtown BG was quiet late Thursday morning. Most shops were closed. Exceptions included Grounds for Thought and Ace Hardware.
