Adam Phillips Pond restocked and ready for fishing

Adam Phillips Pond in Bowling Green

The Adam Phillips Pond has been restocked with fish. The various fish being restocked are Bluegill, Black Crappie, Large Mouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Catfish, Fathead Minnows, and Golden Shiners all thanks to a donation from the Henry Wood Sportsman Alliance Conservation Club. Many of the fish are of catchable size.

Adam Phillips pond is open daily March through November from 8 a.m. until 30 minutes past sunset.  It is closed from December through February. The pond is located behind Northwest Ohio Community Corrections. Visitors are permitted to park on the grass.

Fishing regulations:        

– Limit of 10 fish per day, per person, of Bluegill, Crappie, and Perch combined.   

– 1 Large Mouth Bass over 15 inches in length may be kept, per person, per day.

– All bass less than 15 inches must be released.  

– No limits on Catfish. 

– All persons 16 years and older must have a valid Ohio Fishing License. 

– No ice fishing, boats, kayaks, canoes or floatation devices on the pond.
