Anna Jane Aring

Anna Jane Aring, 84 years of age, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Bowling Green, Ohio surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born on August 3, 1933 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Charles I. and Mildred Fern (Kroeger) Klawitter.  She married Arthur Eugene “Skip” Aring and he survives in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Anna was a 1951 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  After graduation she worked as a payroll clerk at the former Yerges Manufacturing Company until 1953.  In June of 1953 she married the love of her life Arthur Eugene “Skip” Aring as newlyweds they traveled to Manheim Germany to live during the time that Skip served in the United States Army 510th Tank Battalion.   After her husband served his time in the US Army, they returned home.  Anna worked as a secretary at many offices for Wood County Government, she retired in 1995 from Mid-American Information Services, Inc. (MAISI).

Anna was a member of the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green and a member of the Bowling Green VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1148.  Anna loved spending time with her family, as they were her true pride and joy.

Along with her husband Skip, Anna is survived by three daughters: Susan J. Loser, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Lynda J. (Brian) Smith, of Mary Ester, Florida; Tamyra J. (Terry) Rizor, of Leesburg, Virginia; two grandchildren: Adam and Melissa Rizor along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and dear friends in Fort Myers, Florida.   Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her sisters: Kathleen Arndt; Eloise Jacobs a brother: Burdette Klawitter; brothers-in-law: Frank Arndt and Donald Jacobs and a sister-in-law: Betty (Bowker) Klawitter.
Visitation for Anna will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Fish Cemetery, 15025 Zepernick Road, Pemberville, Ohio with Pastor Rob Spicer Officiating.  A Bereavement Luncheon will immediately follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 315 South College Drive, Bowling Green, Ohio.

Memorial Contributions in Anna’s in honor may be gifted to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Capital Improvement Fund.
