Anna Jane Titus, 83, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019. She was born to Emory and Freda Bateson at home in Tontogany, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband Capt. Terrance R. Titus (Vietnam 1965), her parents and sister Emily Taylor. She is survived by sister Norma Roberts, brother Emory Bateson, Jr., and brother-in-law David Titus; sons and their wives Stephen and Cherry Titus, Ron and Yun Pin (Robin) Titus, and Alan and Charlotte Titus; grandchildren Alison, Ruby, Leslie, Georgia, Hope and great-grandson Jackson. She will be missed by all her nieces and nephews, cousins, church family, and friends but we are all happy that she is walking the streets of gold in heaven greeting all of her family and friends that have preceded her.
Anna Jane loved and served her church as secretary, Sunday school teacher, Awana leader and church organist. She also served as the high school and elementary school secretary for Emmanuel Christian School in Toledo, Ohio for 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed helping people, traveling to many of the states in the United States, England and Europe and lots of visits to family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Anna Jane left an indelible mark on all those she came in contact with and was loved by all.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 22, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 749 S. Wintergarden Rd. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Pastor Tom Mullins will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anna Jane, can be made to Emmanuel Christian Schools Scholarship Fund, Toledo, Ohio or to the Ladies Missionary Fellowship at First Baptist Church, Bowling Green Ohio.
