“Nettie” Annette Marie (Hammer) Schaller, age 54, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away in her home on Friday June 23, 2017. She was born May 1, 1963 and grew up in Kansas, Ohio.
Nettie was a graduate of Lakota High School in 1981 and Tiffin Academy of Hair Design in 1984. As a hair stylist and salon owner she touched the lives of so many people. Nettie loved to love people. It was not uncommon for her to make visits to her clients at their home or in the hospital if they were unable to come into the salon. She was an avid cook and enjoyed sharing the food she prepared with family and friends.
Nettie cherished spending time with her family and welcomed any reason to have a gathering. She is survived by her pride and joys, daughter Maggie Schaller and son Jack Schaller both of Bowling Green. Also surviving are 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Diane Weaver (Jim) Columbus, OH, Steve Hammer (Theresa) Blain, MN, Tom Hammer (Kim) Findlay, OH, Marianne Thomas (Jeff) Findlay, OH, and Lori Henry (Rick) Carey, OH and many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, Garold J. Hammer and Reva A. Hammer.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given in Nettie’s memory to Maggie and Jack’s Scholarship Fund, checks can be made payable to Maggie Schaller.
