Archbold man arrested after allegedly making threats at downtown bar

Bowling Green Police arrested a man Saturday around 2 a.m. for allegedly threatening to shoot bouncers and rape a bartender at a downtown bar.

Jacob Montes, 24, of Archbold, was charged with aggravated menacing and taken to Wood County Jail.

After allegedly making the threats, Montes was kicked out of one bar in the 100 block of North Main Street. Police found him standing outside another bar in the same block.

According to the police report, Montes has another pending aggravated menacing charge through Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
