Arle B. Metcalf, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away on December 2, 2017. He was born on March 16, 1952 in Toledo to Raymond and Wilma (Bruce) Metcalf. He married Gayle Hoke on August 17, 1974 and she survives.
Mr. Metcalf was employed as an engineer in the automotive industry and was very enthusiastic about his work. He was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors as well as astronomy and he dearly loved his family and his dogs.
Also surviving are sons, Justin of Yellow Springs, OH, Zachary of Columbus, OH, Adam of North Ridgeville, OH; brother, Todd of Pemberville, OH; sister, Dee Bignall of Woodville, OH; grandchildren, Sabine, Wesley and Ada Marie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St.
