Author Susan Meissner to discuss career as writer of historical fiction

If you’re a fan of historical fiction, join the Wood County District Public Library for Live Online! Meet the Author with Susan Meissner on Thursday, May 20 at 11 a.m.

Meissner is a critically-acclaimed author of 20 novels, writing workshop teacher, and multi-award winning author. Her books have earned starred reviews in both Publishers Weekly and Booklist, and her engaging stories feature memorable characters who face unique and complex circumstances against a backdrop of historical significance. During the Live Online! series, she will discuss her career as an author and her newest book, The Nature of Fragile Things.

“It is so rewarding to connect readers to the authors they love,” said Kristin Wetzel, Information Services Coordinator. “We are really looking forward to learning about some of the research Susan Meissner has conducted for her novels.”
