Berdetta A. Willman, age 101, of Bowling Green, OH, formerly of Luckey, OH passed away on Monday morning, February 20, 2017 at Wood Haven Care Center, Bowling Green, OH. She was born on December 1, 1915 in Wayne, OH to Henry and Ida (Fahle) Peters. Berdetta married J. Herman Willman on April 21, 1934 in New Rochester, OH and he preceded her in death in 1983. She was a homemaker and her memberships included: Zion Lutheran Church, Luckey, OH, Luckey Sunshine Club and also Luckey Mothers Club. In her spare time Berdetta enjoyed spending time with family.
Berdetta is survived by her son: Robert (Janette) Willman of Bowling Green, daughter: Donna Filiere of Luckey, grandchildren: Eric Willman of Bowling Green, Ann Willman of Bowling Green, Amy Taulker of Luckey, Cindy (George) Browne of Bennington VT, great grandchildren: Lucas, Marcus and Michelle. She was preceded in death by her husband: J. Herman, sister: Lorain Merritt and brother: Raymond Peters.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Merritt Interment will be in Troy Township cemetery, Luckey, OH. The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care given to Berdetta during her stay by the entire staff of Wood Haven Care Center.
