Betty L. Stalter, 87, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday January 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born January 6, 1931 in Hickory, North Carolina to Garlin and Maude (Lail) Boliek. She married Robert J. Stalter in 1949 and he preceded her in death September 7, 2013.
Betty was an almost 50 year member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. She graduated from Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio in 1949. She enjoyed baking and quilting, making over 100 quilts in her lifetime. Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her sons Robert Stalter Jr. of Sanford, North Carolina, Daniel (Martina) Stalter of Bowling Green, Ohio and Thomas (Susan) Stalter of Bowling Green, Ohio, daughters Theresa (Mike) Marsh) of Bowling Green, Ohio and Mary Ann (Brian) Hennessy of Rossford, Ohio, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband Robert, Betty was preceded in death by her brother Donald Boliek and special Aunt Elizabeth Garren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Father Mark Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
