Betty Moore Byrom, 77, of Bowling Green, passed away on November 23, 2017 at Wood Haven Health Care. She was born on June 4, 1940 in Sheffield Township, North Carolina to Curtis J. and Ressie (Britt) Moore.
Betty was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, especially Amish stories, and spending time with her family and friends. Betty frequented the Wood County Library, loved gospel music, and enjoyed a card ministry and her Wednesday prayer group. She was famous for her green beans and homemade, decorated cakes. Precious was the time she spent baking with her grandson, Daniel.
Surviving are one son, Kevin (Robin) Cagle of Bowling Green; daughters, Sharon Cagle of Loganville, GA. and Judi Cagle of Thomasville, N.C. and her grandsons, William and Daniel Cagle, both of Bowling Green. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Martha Moore of Asheboro, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, J.A. Moore, Ronnie Moore and Larry Moore.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on December 30, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Bowling Green at 2:00 pm. Private interment of her cremains will be at Brookwood Memorial Gardens, Arab, Alabama.
