BG Community Center offers 55+ Walking Club

BG Community Center passholders have a new opportunity to get fit and healthy with the 55+ Walking Club.  Let us help you live a healthier lifestyle, build stamina or take your current walking plan to the next level. This program is designed for the 55+ crowd.

We will start on Jan. 29th, and run six-week cycles with one recovery week.  You can start at any time and each workout is designed to be scored so you can easily track your progress. Six days per week a Silver Sneaker friendly workout will be posted on the whiteboard by the drinking fountain. The program will have two to three days in a row of walking, followed by a recovery day designed to help you recover faster and gain flexibility and range of motion. Do a couple a weeks or do them all, it’s up to you.

It is so easy to get started, all we ask is that you please submit your name and email at the fitness desk. This way we can send you program updates and information.  Your email will not be used for anything else.
