The community is invited to celebrate Pride Month by joining the BGO Pride Association for Rainbow Rally on Saturday, June 10. The event will be held from 12-6 p.m. at Wooster Green.
Participants are invited to engage with local non-profits and vendors. Non-profits that will be in attendance include: National Alliance on Mental Illness of Wood County, League of Women Voters of Bowling Green, Brown Bag Food Project, The Cocoon, Equitas Health, First Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, Bowling Green Arts Council, Fremont Pride, and the NWO LGBTQIA+ Coalition.
Vendors will have candles, baked goods, apparel, jewelry, art, and other wares available for purchase. Food will also be available for purchase from Call of the Canyon or by free will donation through the First Presbyterian Church. Water will be available for everyone, including water stations for dogs.
Children’s games and activities will be located along the southern part of Wooster Green. Stage performances will be held throughout the course of the day in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot. An accompanying American Sign Language interpreter will also be present.
A proclamation will be presented by the City of Bowling Green at 3 p.m.
