From BOWLING GREEN FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA
The Bowling Green FFA chapter recently hosted a community event that combined fun, fellowship, and kindness to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo. The event drew a crowd of students, teachers, families, and some local residents, who gathered on the school grounds to enjoy an afternoon filled with games, food, and community spirit.
Among the most popular attractions was the dunk tank, where attendees eagerly lined up for the chance to dunk several of the school’s teachers and coaches. Laughter and cheers filled the air each time the target was struck, making it one of the event’s highlights. Guests could also enjoy a variety of other events, such as inflatable attractions, cornhole, and a face painting table.
The Bowling Green FFA also did their best to make sure no one left hungry. Thanks to a generous donation from the Belleville meat market, attendees could also enjoy free hotdogs, along with chips, cookies, and bottled water, provided by the chapter. In addition, FFA members organized a “miracle quarter” during the second quarter of that evening’s football game. Students circulated throughout the crowd collecting spare change and cash donations. Every dollar raised went toward supporting children and families in need through Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo.
The Bowling Green FFA chapter extends its gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for their generosity and support. The chapter looks forward to continuing its tradition of serving the community through events that bring people together for a meaningful cause.
The Bowling Green Agricultural Education Department is a satellite program of Penta Career Center.
