From BOWLING GREEN FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA
Thirteen members of the Bowling Green FFA chapter attended the 2025 national convention and expo, held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Attending members included: Isabella Belleville, Gavin Roessner, Aidan Thomas, Grace O’Connell, Kiersten Hendricks, Casey Naus, Addie Brokaw, Ellery Rhodes, Darla Davis, Konner Chambers, Olivia Rogers, Emma Nester, and Kylah Crawford.
The chapter departed from Bowling Green on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and arrived in Indianapolis. Members spent the afternoon exploring the expo, which featured agricultural businesses, colleges, and career opportunities from across the nation. That evening, the group attended the rodeo to conclude their first day.
On Thursday, Oct. 30, Bowling Green FFA members attended the opening session of the convention before returning to the expo that afternoon. They attended an additional convention session followed by a chapter dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse. The day ended with team bonding at Pinheads Bowling and Arcade.
Friday, Oct. 31, wrapped up the trip with two educational tours – one at Ozark fisheries followed by Lincoln Tech – before the group began their journey home.
A highlight of the convention was Bowling Green FFA member Henry Strow receiving his American FFA degree, the highest honor bestowed by the National FFA organization. He received this degree by excelling with his supervised agricultural experience project as well as involvement in the FFA organization.

The convention provided learning experiences, leadership development, and memories that the Bowling Green FFA members will carry with them throughout their FFA career.
The Bowling Green Agricultural Education Department is a satellite program of Penta Career Center.
