Bowling Green Fire Division responded to a fire at 887 W. Wooster St., Monday evening.
The fire started in the garage, and was contained to that area of the residence, Fire Chief Bill Moorman said this morning.
All the residents were out of the home when firefighters arrived around 8:54 p.m. No one was injured, the chief said.
While the fire was contained to the garage, the rest of the house suffered smoke damage.
The two vehicles in the garage were pushed out into the driveway by firefighters.
A firefighter remained on the scene until 1 a.m.
“We always leave someone there for three hours to make sure it doesn’t rekindle,” Moorman said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
