Bowling Green Fire Division responded to an apartment building fire Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The fire was contained within the first five minutes of the firefighters arriving on the scene, Lt. Tony Zmarzly said.
All of the residents of the apartment building at 334 N. Main St., were out of the building when the firefighters arrived on the scene. No one was injured.
“All of the smoke alarms were going off,” Zmarzly said.
The fire was on the third floor, so the fire aerial truck was used.
The fire started in one apartment and was contained to that apartment, he said. The rest of the building is still livable, he added.
Firefighters remained on the scene for about an hour. The investigative team is on the scene now looking for the cause of the blaze.
