Bowling Green Fire Division will hold an open house on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Pearl Street fire station, 1060 Pearl St.
The open house will feature a fire extinguisher demonstration at 10 a.m., a live fire demonstration at 11 a.m., and an auto extrication demonstration using the Jaws of Life at noon.
Those attending will be able to operate a real fire hose, sit in the fire trucks and ambulances, and tour the fire station.
There will be safety brochures available, and opportunities to go through a fire safety trailer.
Free pizza will be available.
