Following are construction updates for the current paving projects and a planned sewer improvement project.
- Church/Grove/Evers Paving: The contractor is nearing completion of the removal and installation of curbs and driveway entrances along South Church Street. Beginning next week, Oct. 23, the contractor will be working on the drive approach at the police division. This work is anticipated to last through the week and will affect the turn lane in front of the police station on South Church onto Wooster. The contractor will continue curb and driveway entrance removal on West Evers and North Grove Street, which is anticipated to last through the end of October. Once all curb and driveway entrance replacement is complete, the contractor will begin installing the surface course of asphalt on South Church, North Grove, and West Evers.
- Wolfly Sewer Project: The contractor has been delayed on another project, which is causing a delayed start on the Wolfly sewer improvement project. Materials are tentatively scheduled to arrive on Friday, Oct. 20 with construction tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 23.
