The Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green recently pledged to annually donate $2,500 to the Bowling Green City Schools Bobcat Basics Pantry. The group’s financial support will allow the school district to continually support their students and families in a time of need.
The Bobcat Basic Pantry provides K-12 families with toiletries, school supplies and non-perishable food items. Funds provided by Kiwanis Club will be especially helpful in emergencies and when supplies become low.
The Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green has been a strong supporter of BGCS efforts. In years past, the Kiwanis donated funds for preschool educational toys, new mascot uniforms, a Bobcat-a-Thon event, and various school clubs.
