Bowling Green Police arrested a man Monday (2/26) evening for domestic violence against a woman with a small child. Antonio Miller, 22, was taken to Wood County Jail.
Police were called around 7:35 p.m., about the domestic dispute in an apartment in the 400 block of Lehman Avenue.
Miller, who was reportedly intoxicated, wanted to hold the child, but was told by the mother that he was too drunk. Miller reportedly struck her in the face, then followed her as she tried to leave with the child.
The woman said she wasn’t fast enough to lock the car door, and Miller allegedly opened the car door and struck her multiple times in the face. She reportedly told Miller the child needed to eat, and he slammed the car door.
Police recorded discoloration under the woman’s left eye, and redness around her left ear and temple.
Miller was taken into custody without issue at the apartment.
