A Bowling Green man, Devon Michael Battig, 23, was arrested Sunday for aggravated menacing at two downtown businesses.
At approximately 2:42 p.m. Bowling Green police officers responded to reports of a man who had threatened people with a knife at both Ace Hardware, 136 S. Main St., and Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St.
Police officers located the suspect and began speaking with witnesses. Officers were advised that the suspect had been in a verbal altercation earlier with another subject and then had opened his knife in threatening manner toward the victims.
Battig was arrested on two counts of aggravated menacing and he was lodged at the Wood County Justice Center.
