BG Manor/BG Care Center, a long-term care provider part of the locally owned and operated organization, HCF Management Inc., continues to prepare for COVID-19 and the needed supplies. As a long-term care provider, we must be resourceful in order to best protect our residents and staff during this time of great precaution.
Our team has a list of all personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory at each of our locations and some may be redistributed as needed. We are updated weekly on orders that have been placed and remain in regular communication with our vendors to secure future supplies.
In addition, our leadership team is preparing consistent protocols for the use of non-traditional PPE supplies, such as homemade masks, should we need to utilize them. We cannot beat this virus alone, that is why our state association and local EMA is calling for everyone to assist, including partners like other industries who may have PPE and the public, to do everything they can to assist us at this time.
We appreciate everything the administration, our partnering manufacturers, and members of the public can do right now.
