The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation has announced the return of Young Ones and Companions, a preschool nature education program at the Wintergarden Nature Preserve.
The program includes a story, a short nature hike, a snack and a craft for the theme of the month. Topics for this spring include groundhogs, clouds, spring, and frogs. This program is for preschool children aged 3 to 5 and their adult companions. As a family friendly program, families are welcome to bring additional younger siblings along for the ride.
The program is scheduled for Tuesdays, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., on the following dates: Feb, 11, March 11, April 8, and May 13.
