The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Foundation has announced a new event called BG Brewfest: Battle of the Brews.
This fundraiser will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, from 7-10 p.m., at the Veterans Building in City Park.
All four Bowling Green breweries – Aistear, Arlyn’s Good Beer, Brewing Green, and Juniper Brewing Co. – will present two brews each to compete for the ultimate brewery faceoff.
Attendees will be able to sample each brew and vote for their favorite while local band AmpWagon performs.
Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/BGBrewfest or for $35 cash at the door. Tickets include a souvenir tasting glass and eight tastings.
Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase their favorite brews. The Exchange Club of Bowling Green will be offering snacks for a donation. Event proceeds will benefit the Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Foundation.
