Bowling Green Police responded to a call about a man underneath a vehicle in the 100 block of East Oak Street on Friday (Nov. 17) around 2 a.m.
Police found an 18-year-old man on his back underneath a Jeep. He reportedly told police he didn’t know the owner of the Jeep, but was using it to hide from police. The officer reported that the man had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his body, and had vomit down the front of his sweatshirt.
Witnesses also reported that the man broke the back wiper off the Jeep and threw it, and bent a parking sign in a parking lot.
The man was arrested for two counts of criminal damaging, underage under the influence, disorderly conduct and unable to care for himself. He was taken to Wood County Hospital to be medically cleared, then taken to Wood County Jail.
