Bowling Green Police Division arrested a man Thursday for domestic violence and disrupting public services.
Officers were called to the 500 block of West Gypsy Lane Road after a woman fled to a neighbor’s home, asking that 911 be called.
Dennis Lamb, 46, of Bowling Green, was charged and taken to the Wood County Jail.
Police reported the woman had a cut and dried blood on her lip, and had several scratches and red marks on her neck and chest. She told police that she had tried to leave, but Lamb took the car keys out of her purse. She said that she had tried to call 911, but Lamb took her phone and threw it. She then ran to a neighbor’s home.
Lamb told police that he didn’t hit the woman, but that she hit him. The officer reported that he could see no injuries to Lamb.
Lamb reportedly told police that one issue causing the dispute was the woman refusing to let him see messages and media she has on her phone. The woman said she had saved messages on her phone from Lamb, threatening to hurt her. But her phone could not be found.
An officer completed a Victim Violence Form with the woman, and provided her with a Victim`s Rights Pamphlet and There`s Power in Information pamphlet.
