Bowling Green Police charged a man with domestic violence Tuesday evening after a 911 came in from an address in the 300 block of Sunrise Drive, and a dispatcher could hear yelling in the background.
Dean Leach, 48, of Bowling Green, was arrested and taken to the Wood County jail.
Leach was reportedly arguing with a family member, who he allegedly grabbed and threw to the ground. He also reportedly pushed two other family members. A juvenile family member reportedly tried to pull Leach off of the woman on the ground, and was herself pushed away by Leach.
Police reported red marks on the primary victim’s neck and chest. The juvenile told police she was scared for other female family members in the home.
A temporary protection order was put in place, banning Leach from returning to the house until the case is resolved in court.
