A Bowling Green man was arrested after he reportedly hit a woman, knocking out two of her teeth.

Airon Williams, 32, was charged with domestic violence and felonious assault, then taken to Wood County Jail.

BG Police were called Thursday, close to midnight, to an apartment in the 1500 block of East Clough Street for a domestic dispute. Police found a woman with blood on her lip and inside her mouth, with her left front tooth and the one immediately to the left of it missing.

The woman told police that Williams had placed his hand around her throat, strangling her, and pushed her face up against her car, then reportedly struck her face, knocking out two teeth.

Williams reportedly admitted to placing his hand around the woman’s throat and pushing her face toward the car. He denied striking the woman, and reportedly told police that her teeth must have been knocked out when her face hit the car.

According to the police report, Williams had cuts and dried blood on the knuckles of his hand.
