BG Police arrest man for reportedly threatening to kill girlfriend

Bowling Green Police arrested a man for aggravated menacing after he reportedly threatened to kill his girlfriend.

On Monday, at 1:21 a.m., the police division received a call from the girlfriend’s roommate, who stated that Kavion Milligan, 24, Lima, was trying to force his girlfriend to go to Lima with him.

The roommate said Milligan was at a gas station, and would be on his way soon. She said she heard Milligan tell his girlfriend, “I will shoot your shit up” and “I will kill you.” She told police that Milligan owns a gun.

BG police officers began driving to gas stations in town to find Milligan. They found him at Speedway on East Wooster Street, and charged him with aggravated menacing.

Upon searching Milligan’s vehicle, police reportedly found marijuana, and charged him with drug abuse marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They also found a taser and two airsoft rifles which reportedly looked like actual firearms.

Milligan reportedly admitted to threatening to kill his girlfriend if she didn’t leave with him. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
