Bowling Green Police arrested a man Saturday (Sept. 9) who reportedly tried to drive a stolen motorcycle on North Main Street, which was closed to traffic for the Black Swamp Arts Festival.

Jaiden Tyler, 22, Toledo was cited for driving on a closed roadway, driving under suspension, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to comply and receiving stolen property.

Police were patrolling Main Street downtown, which was crowded with artists’ tents, when Tyler reportedly turned onto North Main from Wooster Street around 1:46 a.m. The driver reportedly tried to drive away from police, when two officers grabbed the handlebars and stopped it. Tyler reportedly again tried to get away from officers.

Tyler was taken to Wood County Jail.
