A Detroit man was charged with felony receiving stolen property after a license plate camera caught the stolen vehicle entering Bowling Green on Friday around 4 p.m.
Bowling Green Police found the 2020 Toyota Corolla, reportedly stolen from Portsmouth, at the Meijer gas station on East Wooster Street.
Police arrested the man inside the car, Bruce Williams, of Detroit. Williams reportedly asked for his cigarettes and lottery tickets from the vehicle. So an officer retrieved those items from the stolen car. Inside an already open pack of cigarettes, the officer reportedly found a glass pipe with white residue inside. Officers also reportedly found a marijuana pipe with residue in the car.
Williams was arrested for receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
