BG Police arrest Toledo man reportedly with spray-painted stolen vehicle

Bowling Green Police responded to a report of a stolen license place on a vehicle in the 1200 block of North Main Street, on Friday around 3 p.m.

The dark colored Honda was found unoccupied in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue. Police ran the vehicle identification number and found the vehicle was stolen as well. The car was listed as a 2002 gold Honda Civic by Toledo Police Department.

Within a few minutes, Mikhail Kier, 18, of Toledo, came out to the parking lot. He told police the car – which had been spray painted black – belonged to a friend of his.

Kier was arrested for felony receiving stolen property, and taken to Wood County Jail.

During an inventory of the vehicle, black spray paint and tools were reportedly located in the trunk. A baggie of marijuana was reportedly found in the glove box.
