BG Police arrest Weston man for warrants, meth pipe and open alcohol in vehicle

Bowling Green Police arrested a Weston man with several warrants, and a Lima woman Thursday around 1 a.m.

David Cole, 51, was charged with having drug paraphernalia, obstructing official business, open container of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, driving under suspension, and a marked lane violation. Heather Blair, 45, was charged with drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Both were taken to the Wood County Jail.

Police were on patrol in the downtown area, when an officer noticed a vehicle make a wide right turn onto North Church Street. Officers reportedly found open Mason jars with alcoholic beverages, a meth pipe. The driver, Cole, and passenger, Blair, both reportedly gave false names to police. Cole also was unable to give his birth date, according to the police report.

Cole reportedly told police the alcohol in the Mason jars was from the previous day, and that he hadn’t smoked meth since the prior day. However, Blair reportedly said they had smoked some hours before.
