A Bowling Green woman was arrested for domestic violence Monday (May 13) and taken to Wood County Jail.
Bowling Green Police were called to a home in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue around midnight. The first officer on the scene reported hearing yelling, objects being thrown, and a female voice in distress, coming from an open upstairs window.
The front door was locked, so the officer kicked in the door and ran upstairs. Police found June Ragland, 35, and another person with a laceration on her nose in a room with items thrown around.
During the fighting, a teenager in the home, who was babysitting two children on the first floor of the apartment, reportedly ran upstairs to remove a baby from the room where Ragland was allegedly throwing items.
Ragland was found to have active warrants out of the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Patrol. She was taken to Wood County Jail.
