A Bowling Green woman was arrested for domestic violence and taken to Wood County Jail last Thursday.
Police were called around 5 p.m. to the 1400 block of East Wooster Street for a man trying to get away from his girlfriend after an argument. Whitney Trautman, 31, of Bowling Green, reportedly hit, slapped, scratched and bit the man.
Police recorded several scratches on the man’s face, neck and torso, plus an abrasion on his arm where he said he was bitten.
The man told police he had been staying at a local hotel.
A witness had also called police about the incident, stating that she saw a man and woman walking past a restaurant on East Wooster Street. The woman was behind the man, screaming at him, and throwing her shoes at him. At one point the woman threw herself on the ground. The witness said the man appeared to just be trying to get away from the woman.
