BG Police charge man with menacing after he allegedly threatened neighbors repeatedly

Bowling Green Police requested a warrant for a man who has reportedly threatened his neighbors repeatedly.

Officers were at the apartment complex in the 1000 block of Third Street on Sunday afternoon after a woman reported being scared to stay in her apartment because of the yelled threats. When police arrived they reportedly could hear Jacob Ditch, 37, yelling profanity and a racial slur. Officers cited Ditch for disorderly conduct, since this was the third complaint about his yelling in the last 24 hours.

On Monday, police were called back to the apartment complex, by a neighbor who said Ditch had been banging on the wall and making threats to assault and kill him. Another neighbor approached police and said he had heard Ditch make multiple threats to harm the caller.

Police charged Ditch with menacing.
