Bowling Green Police charged a woman with assault after a fight that started in a downtown bar continued into a parking lot in the 100 block of East Court Street, Sunday around 1 a.m.
Kayla White, 20, of Bowling Green, was arrested and taken to Wood County Jail.
Police officers reportedly arrived on the scene to see White striking the female victim multiple times in the back of her head. A video recorded by a witness reportedly showed White hitting the victim repeatedly and trying to take her to the ground. A witness told police the victim was trying to get away but was unable to because White was holding her shirt.
