Bowling Green Police cited a Toledo man for possession of marijuana and improper transportation of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Police pulled over a vehicle driven by John Cohn, 21, on Sunday at 2:33 a.m., in the 200 block of East Wooster Street, for only having one functioning brake light.
The officer reported being able to smell marijuana from inside the vehicle as he was standing at the passenger side door.
Cohn told police he had about a gram of marijuana in his center console. When searching, police also found a loaded handgun in the center console. Cohn did not have a concealed carry permit in any state.
