A Bowling Green man was cited for public indecency Monday after a woman reported him standing nude in his doorway.
Police were dispatched at 2:15 p.m., after a woman stated she had parked her vehicle in the first block of East Clough Street, and looked up to see a nude man in the doorway of an apartment in the second block of South Prospect Street.
The man, Gardell Elvis Minix, 66, was reportedly masturbating where he could clearly be seen by the public.
The woman told police that this has been an ongoing issue, and that she had seen Minix do this before.
Police went to the apartment, and talked with Minix, who stated that he had already been cited twice for this type of incident. But he reportedly said that he was not masturbating this time.
The officer noted in the report that Minix was only partially dressed, with his pants still undone. The officer explained to Minix that what he had done was illegal, and he would be cited for the offense.
