Two Bowling Green police officers were on bike patrol Saturday at 1:49 a.m., when they noticed two men acting suspiciously in the area of South College Avenue and Eighth Street.
The men, Cameron Moore, 22, of Defiance, and Matthew Baldridge, 21, of Portage, were walking around an apartment parking lot, then cut between houses, and stood in an alley between Seventh and Eighth streets.
As police talked with the men, both had different stories. Baldridge eventually told police that Moore had wiped a car window with his hand and looked inside the car. He showed police the vehicle, where the condensation had been wiped.
Moore was cited for criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. Baldridge was cited for criminal trespassing.
