Bowling Green police arrested a man for possession of cocaine and marijuana, and driving under suspension on Saturday.

Around 11 p.m. on Palmer Avenue near South Enterprise Street, an officer pulled over a vehicle that didn’t have a license plate light and had brake lights that illuminated while not braking.

Officers reportedly smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle driven by Robert Quinn Caesar, 21, of Columbus. Caesar reportedly admitted that he had smoked marijuana in the vehicle approximately two hours ago.

While searching his vehicle, police reportedly found a bag of suspected marijuana under the driver’s seat. Police also reportedly found a pack of cigarettes, with a small brown piece of plastic baggie with a small round substance inside at the bottom of the pack of cigarettes.

Caesar reportedly admitted the baggie was his and contained cocaine. He was taken to the Wood County jail.
