BG police get reports of 4 unlocked vehicles being entered

Bowling Green Police Division received four more calls about vehicles being entered and items stolen from them over the weekend.

The reports came from the 300 block of North Summit Street, the 300 block of Colony Lane, and the 400 block of South Summit Street. All the vehicles were unlocked at the time. Items taken including a backpack with climbing equipment valued at $500, clothing, coins, and food items.

These reports follow seven vehicles broken into in the Klotz Road area last week. Most of those vehicles were locked at the time, with windows being broken out. Several items were reported missing, including sporting equipment. One vehicle was unlocked, with the owner reporting a wallet being stolen.
