Bowling Green Police responded to a report of criminal damaging at HerChoice, also known as Bowling Green Pregnancy Center, 521 Ridge St., on Saturday morning.
On the east side of the building, green spray paint had been used to write the words “Liars,” “Fake clinic,” “Fund abortion,” “Abort God,” and “Jane’s revenge.” No other damage was noted. HerChoice has been criticized for promoting itself as presenting all options for pregnancies, however, the only information presented on abortions are details on the risks and side effects.
An employee of the business showed police some security video from about 3:30 a.m., showing what appeared to be a woman wearing a hat and surgical mask spray painting the building. According to the police report, the suspect’s identity could not be determined from the video.
