Bowling Green Police responded to a suspicious incident Sunday (March 16) involving a casserole, kicked-in door, and an unknown tattooed man.

Male roommates sharing a home in the 300 block of North Enterprise Street came to the police station around 4:20 p.m., to report an unusual incident. A female acquaintance showed up at their house that afternoon to drop off a casserole. Shortly after she arrived, an unknown man kicked in the front door, and demanded to know which of the men was fooling around with his girlfriend.

The man reportedly smacked the casserole out of one of the roommate’s hands and grabbed the woman by the throat. Another roommate separated the man from the woman and told him to leave the house.

At that point, the unknown man allegedly punched the roommate in the face with a closed fist and left. One roommate said the male lifted his shirt and stated he was from Texas, revealing more tattoos than the roommate was able to describe.

The woman stayed at the house 10 more minutes before leaving in a white Jeep with the unknown male.

The roommates said they did not know the woman’s name or address. One roommate told police that several months earlier the woman approached him on the front porch of the North Enterprise home, and stated she would make them a casserole the next day. He told police he did not see her again until Sunday.

Police went to the home to document the damage to the front door.
