Bowling Green Police responded to a caller who stated an unknown woman came to her Sixth Street apartment stating she needed help on Friday, at 12:44 a.m.

Police spoke with the woman, who said she had left her Third Street apartment due to fear that someone was inside. The woman said she walked from her apartment, looking for someone to help her.

Police transported the woman back to her residence, which they searched and found no one inside.

The woman appeared to have droopy eyelids that fluttered repeatedly, with dilated pupils. The officer asked the woman if she had taken any narcotics, and she reportedly stated that she had done “a line” of meth approximately an hour and a half prior. She reportedly stated her heart felt like it was racing, she was paranoid and possibly hallucinating.

The woman reportedly told police she would feel safer if she went to the hospital, so BG EMS transported her to Wood County Hospital.
