Bowling Green Police Division responded to four shoplifting incidents at Walmart in the last three days, Chief Tony Hetrick said.
Friday at 12:03 p.m., Dave Pitietje, 37, McClure, was charged with shoplifting $158 worth of merchandise listed as household items.
The same day at 3:29 p.m., Cassidy Cervantes, 21, Bowling Green, was charged with reportedly putting $39.76 worth of Halloween items in her backpack.
Later that day at 8:20 p.m., Matthew Rasmussen, 21, Bowling Green, and Danielle McVey, 20, of Arcanum, Ohio, reportedly failed to scan all their items at the self checkout. Among the $85.67 in items they did not pay for was a “bed in a bag,” New York strip steaks and a candle.
And on Sunday at 3:31 p.m., police charged Teresa Reyes, 60, Bowling Green, with failing to pay for $78.92 in items at the self-scan checkout.
