Bowling Green Police Division responded to the 200 block of South Mercer Road on Thursday evening after a resident reported some type of bullet had been fired into his bedroom.
The resident noticed his window blind was damaged, then found the glass behind it had a hole in it. Drywall across from the window had been struck, and a metal fragment was found on the floor by the bedroom door.
A roommate reported hearing glass break earlier in the day, around 10 a.m., but he didn’t notice any damage in the apartment so he thought the sound came from a neighboring apartment.
