Bowling Green police responded to a report of a man who reportedly kicked in the door of his ex-girlfriend’s apartment in the 1000 block of Clough Street on Wednesday around 11 p.m.
The resident reported to police that Andrea Jenkins-Loyd, 25, of Toledo, showed up at her apartment and asked to be let inside. She told him to leave, or she would call the police.
Jenkins-Loyd reportedly went to the back patio door and kicked it in. The woman told police that she ran out the front door and across the parking lot. Her ex-boyfriend reportedly followed her out the front door and across the parking lot, where he caught up to her.
The woman told police she crouched down when Jenkins-Loyd caught up to her, and he momentarily held on to her by grabbing hold of her hair. She told him again that she would call the police, and he let go of her hair and left.
Police have not yet located Jenkins-Loyd.
